In May-June 2023, Valletta, Malta hosted the XXII Games of the Small States of Europe, a monumental event featuring 835 athletes from nine European countries.
TEC played a pivotal role in this triumph, providing essential rentals, staging for ceremonies, and even having the privilege of lighting the torch of the games.
With 48 medals, including 17 golds, Malta achieved remarkable success as the host nation. Beyond the medal count, the games elevated Malta's international profile, boosted tourism, and fostered unity among participating nations.
